- We verify your request.We may ask you to confirm that you control the account email address. If you no longer have access, tell us so we can consider another verification method. We never ask for your password.
- We confirm the next steps.We explain the process, deletion timeframe and any necessary retention. Sending an email opens a request; it does not instantly delete the account.

What data does this cover?
A full deletion request covers the authentication account, profile, preferences, history, favourites, playlists, sharing links and associated personal content. Copies imported by other users do not automatically disappear. Already anonymised information no longer identifies you.
What may be retained?
Information required for legal obligations, security or a dispute may be retained on a limited basis. Logs and backups follow their retention cycles. Our response will specify the relevant categories, reasons and applicable periods.
Your device and app stores
Uninstalling the app alone does not delete the server account. After deletion is confirmed, also remove any unwanted local content. If you have an Apple or Google Play subscription, cancel it separately through your store account.
